Your human content partner
A senior investment writer inside your firm, for less than the cost of hiring one
When you need to create content consistently, but can't keep leaning on the fund managers, you have three options: hire in-house, retain an agency, or bring Flight to Quality in.
With us, it’s clean and simple. You get a senior investment writer inside your firm who plans what you publish and writes it.
No recruitment agency fees, no hours wasted interviewing candidates. No account manager layer, no agency house style flattening the voice of your investment team. No ‘AI-generated’ labels that risk damaging your reputation with clients. All priced below the cost of hiring in-house or retaining an agency.
But above all, it’s your thinking. We just make sure it sounds like you, not everyone else.
Investment content that’s unmistakably yours.

In-house is a single fully loaded investment writer: salary, employer National Insurance, pension and overheads, before bonus. Salary source: Morgan McKinley 2026 UK Salary Guide, London investment management, £55,000 to £75,000 at 5+ years. Agency figures span a production programme at the entry end to a full content operation at the top, drawn from published 2026 UK and US content-agency pricing with the documented uplift for regulated content applied. Full-service multi-channel marketing retainers are excluded, because they buy more than content.
Build an investment writing function without increasing headcount or paying agency overheads
Flight to Quality gives you an IMC-qualified head of investment writing for a lower monthly cost than an in-house content writer. And we can start working on your content from next month, not after a three-month search.

Additional writing and design support as you need it
Annual report writing, product marketing literature, website content, asset class insights and major client or shareholder communications are priced per project. They sit outside of the retainer tiers, except at Leadership level, where light support may be included. Alongside the writing, we have a network of designers and branding specialists to ensure a fully joined-up approach across all your content.
How it works across each tier
Simple, smart and repeatable.
1
Start with a plan
We agree a content plan in advance, setting priorities across reporting, regulatory work and the value-added pieces that grow the business.
2
We capture your thinking
A short, focused conversation each month draws out market context, the decisions you have made and your forward view, without taking your managers off their day job.
3
We draft and deliver
Drafts are produced centrally and reviewed through a predictable process, so content stops being reactive and becomes routine.
4
You sign off, and own it
Sign-off always rests with you. The work of producing moves to us; ownership and control stay with the business.

FAQs
-
The benefit is content that genuinely sounds like your firm, produced without the cost of a hire or the distance of an agency, and backed by a documented human process that keeps you clear of the new AI transparency rules. Put simply, working with Flight to Quality protects and sharpens your brand's reputation instead of diluting it, which is what standing out for the right reasons actually means.
-
No. AI has plenty of useful back-office applications, but we don't use it to write your content, and we never put confidential client information into generative AI tools. Every piece goes through a documented human workflow instead, for two reasons.
First, since the EU AI Act's transparency rules were introduced, AI-generated content now has to be marked as such, while content that's genuinely human-written and editorially owned does not. So, what you publish from us carries no AI label, and you have a clear evidence trail if compliance ever needs one.
And second, evidence suggests people trust content less when they are told it was produced by AI. So, there’s a commercial imperative to use experienced, professional human investment writers instead.

Leadership sits below a two-person in-house team or a specialist agency. Growth costs about the same as a single in-house writer once National Insurance, pension and overheads are counted, but adds the senior strategy a lone writer cannot provide. Core brings senior, investment-literate content within reach of a boutique.
-
We do the writing. The thinking is yours, and approval and sign-off always rest with you.
-
Yes. The retainer flexes with your stage, scaling up around a raise or a repositioning and back down when things settle.
-
Two rounds per deliverable, with a monthly allowance for ad hoc editorial support built into each tier.
-
Annual reports, product marketing literature, asset class deep-dives and major shareholder communications are priced per project, so a retainer is never padded with work you do not need.
-
That's the whole point, and why firms choose us for all of their communications. You work directly with a senior investment writer who learns your voice, your point of view, and what lands with your audiences, so what goes out sounds like your firm, and not the industry average.
As Matthew Brown at Triple Point put it, “When we've been stuck in a river of thinking, Kevin’s pushed back and challenged us, which has helped us develop a house style that authentically presents us as the company we want to be, rather than as just another beige investment management company.”
It’s how you end up with content only your firm could have published.
