Writing expertise for investment management firms that want to stand out
Because how you think remains your greatest asset
Most investment management firms struggle to consistently deliver the bread-and-butter fund reporting plus the more thought-provoking material that really gets you noticed. And when you're under pressure to keep producing more content, the biggest risk to your brand is sounding just like everyone else.
Flight to Quality® solves that problem. We’re a writer-led company built to capture your thinking and amplify it throughout all of your content on a rolling basis. No agency overheads. Less expensive than hiring in-house. More human than AI. We give you industry experience backed by good judgment, loads of ideas, and a deep understanding of what investors value.
What do you get? Investment content that’s unmistakably yours.
The reporting cycle within most investment firms feels like a treadmill: everyone running at speed, but without a destination. Too busy to ask whether the content adds value, or whether clients are even paying attention. That's feeding the machine, and it's exactly what a content agency or AI left to its own devices does too.
What you need is a content engine: capture your investment team's thinking once, then turn it into everything from fund reporting to thought leadership, so it sounds like you, every time. It makes life easier for your marketing team, and it leaves your fund managers with more time to do what they do best, manage the money.

Flight to Quality works with boutique and emerging fund managers, mid-size investment firms, and the stretched marketing and distribution leads inside them. It’s not a one-man band. Kevin calls on a team of investment writers and designers that have worked on behalf of some of the world’s largest investment companies. We’ve also written across multiple asset classes and investment industries, including UK venture capital, private equity and debt. We’re now bringing this institutional knowledge and understanding to smaller asset and wealth managers.

We agree a plan, we capture your thinking through short conversations, and we deliver your reporting, thought leadership and other content requirements on a predictable schedule. Your fund managers provide sign off. They don’t have to write, but they are expected to give us the insight we need to work with.

Retainers are tiered to your stage, from a single-strategy boutique to a multi-strategy manager. You can see the tiers on the Services page.

That’s the whole point. You work directly with an experienced investment writer who learns your voice, your point of view, and what works for your audiences, so what goes out is authentically, unmistakably yours.
-
We use AI tools where they genuinely help, such as research and gathering information. It’s also good for creating fiddly templates and PowerPoint decks. But your investors are paying for a point of view, and that has to come directly from you, articulated by us.

Quickly. Does that answer your question? It starts with a discovery call, so we can find out what you need, and agree whether we’re a good fit. Then we’ll agree a retainer model based on your requirements, and ask you to sign a Terms of Business document so we both know where we stand. After that, we’ll schedule some meetings so we can figure out how each other works. If you prefer, we’re happy to travel to your offices to have a face-to-face conversation, just like the old days.
